Size 16 prepregnancy?

Hello all.
I hope you don't mind me posting in this board . We are currently TTC and I worked really hard to get some weight off but some has slipped back on 😥(not all!) I am now size 14 - size 16.

I know it may be silly and I will be BLESSED to fall but I have suddenly got really anxious about how I will look/feel at my size. All the media of pregnant women are super skinny and then snap right back.

can anyone share how you looked and felt if your prepregnancy weight was similar?
I tried searching pictures/videos online but nothing!
thanks ladies!

I was a size 14 when I fell pregnant. Most people didn't see I was pregnant until the 7 month mark, then it was obvious I was very pregnant all of a sudden. I had SPD in pregnancy so weight gain was probably more than if I was active but unfortunately I was in agony by 17 weeks. By full term I hardly left the house. So in my experience until I was really pregnant no one really noticed.

Size 16 pre pregnancy. Have gained about 2 kilos and now 35 weeks. Partly from severe sickness in the first few months and partly because I have gestational diabetes and eat very well. I am all bump but expected to be absolutely huge by now. Severe pain means I haven't been able to walk or even move much at times.
I wouldn't worry. Just eat well, drink lots, move whenever you can and you will be fine 🙂

I am normally a 14 down bottom and a 16/18 up top. I'm around 7 months pregnant with my second (and big) child. I lost quite a bit of weight whilst I was pregnant as I was pretty nauseas the while time. I actually found dressing when I was pregnant a lot easier than normal and quite liked it. A few basics from H&M got me through. Over the bump jeans are much better than under bump. Vinted or e-bay great place to find and then sell maternity clothes. I really wasn't concerned about my size or shape at all during pregnancy which was nice.

I was a size 16 when I became pregnant. I didn't put on any weight until I was about 22/24 weeks pregnant and by the time I was full term I'd only put on just over a stone and it came off really quickly (back in my size 16 jeans a month after birth).

I felt great during pregnancy. My bump didn't show until late on (24 weeks ish) but from then on I felt like I just glowed and had never felt so good about my body :)

I had similar experience to this op aswell.

I was bigger than you as a size 20 when I fell pregnant. Pregnancy was fine, although I was classed as “high risk” dude to weight but it was a pretty straightforward pregnancy and birth. I didn’t show till about 24/25 weeks but I actually found I enjoyed my pregnant body more than my unpregnant body. I didn’t gain any weight tbh but I had terrible nausea until 15 or so weeks and lived on oranges until then and then made sure I was eating as healthy as I could stomach.

I'd personally try and be as light as possible for conceiving because I put on 3 stone in pregnancy, so the thought of adding that to an already heavier body would have been really uncomfortable for me (mentally and physically)

sorry should have said I was size 16 but dropped weight just prior and was glad I had.
