Hey everyone,
I put a post on here a few weeks ago about how I had a surgical management for miscarriage on the 2nd May (MVA) and after 5 days, decided to test my ovulation just in case and had a static smiley on ClearBlue. I very quickly realised this was just my HCG.
Fast forward to today, I have just had another static smiley. This situation is slightly different, as my cheap testing stick pregnancy tests are so faint if I took a picture you wouldn't see the near on completely faded line. I spoke to my EPU and they say they have no concerns but it's difficult when I don't know my HCG level currently. I haven't had any bleeding since day 10 (i'm now at 3 and a half weeks since MC). I started testing around the 18th and was getting "low", and on the 22nd or 23rd it changed to flashing smiley which I had for 2 days before this morning it has changed to static.
I would like to think this is genuine, considering it started on low (whereas it previously didn't) and naturally progressed to static smiley after 6 days or so. I would think if it was left over HCG, it wouldn't do that? But i'd be interested to hear what peoples thoughts are and if it's genuine. The only thing that is throwing me off is on the cheap PreMom ones, they are still saying low and are quite light, however my doctor always told me not to go by these and didn't recommend them. I don't test my temperature regularly (I always forget lol) but this morning it was 36.37.
I'm thinking there is no harm in trying and just treat it like I may not actually be/end up ovulating and could perhaps be to do with HCG but I wouldn't want to leave it and not try, as I don't ovulate every month so if it was genuine i'd regret not trying if I didn't ovulate for a few months again!
What is everyones thoughts?
