Just gone through my 6th miscarriage (no living children) never had a heartbeat with any of my pregnancies. Same thing everytime, go for six week scan and not much seen, told to go back two weeks later and baby grows but never develops heartbeat.

What could be the cause of this? It’s like I get to a certain point and nothing more progresses. I’ve had testing with RMC clinic and all tests came back normal.

Anyone else have a similar experience? I’ve never known anyone else to have this sort of experience. It seems there’s definitely something wrong with my body that’s not letting the pregnancy progress.

Sorry to hear you are going through your sixth miscarriage, it’s awful, especially when the NHS testing finds nothing wrong with you. Similarly to you, I have had 5 miscarriages at about the 6 - 7 week mark with heartbeat only detected once. Testing on NHS recurrent miscarriage clinic showed there to be nothing wrong except mild PCOS and I did not believe this to be the issue. Eventually I went to a private miscarriage clinic in Epsom called CRP and they test for immune system reasons. It turned out I have very high natural killer cells which attacked the pregnancies. Since starting treatment with them I’m now in my third trimester with no issues. Unfortunately NK cells / immune related issues aren’t tested as a rule on NHS. I am positive that if I had not been tested and treated for this, I would still be in experiencing recurrent miscarriages.
