Hello everyone, I am currently 40+ 3 with baby no. 2. I had a little girl almost 3 years ago. I am booked in for an induction on Sunday at 41 weeks and they will be using the foley balloon. The reason for the induction and using this method is that my daughter was born via c-section so they consider it too risky to use a hormonal method of induction. Although my daughter was born via section my labour did start spontaneously at 39+5 weeks and I dilated to 7cm before my labour stalled. I had a sweep yesterday which went well and I have had some tightenings since then but nothing regular yet.
I'm quite upset about possibly having to be induced again as it'll mean having to spend a lot of time in hospital and also I worry it will increase my risk of having another section. If anyone has positive stories about being induced with the balloon I would really appreciate hearing them. Thank you x
