my little one is 9 and half months at the moment and got a couple of teeth come through. my baby is still waking up during the night for a bottle feed approx6-8 oz however just had her 9 month check and nurse said to give 8 oz bottle of water instead because her teeth would have been brushed already?

You could start cutting it down gradually before phasing it out.

I’d start gradually reducing the amount of milk if you want to stop the night feed. And then when you’re down to a very small feed you could just offer water.

No, I fed mine milk as they were hungry. Stopped at about 14 months. All teeth brushed twice a day, they’ve had no dental problems at all

I didn't stop with milk until after 12 months at the earliest. 9months is still very little.

We did night feeds with milk but then brushed teeth again if he was awake, or smeared some toothpaste onto teeth with a finger if not as it was less likely to rouse him. Total nuisance if I'm honest. I was really glad he dropped the night feed soon after.

No. Milk is still their main source of nutrition until they are one. Are they finishing it mostly finishing that night feed? If so they obviously still need it
