cyst 9 weeks pregnant

Hi x

I had a private scan at 8w5d and they found a cyst measuring 6cm.
They said to wait till 12 weeks dating scan and see what they will say.
Has anyone had similar cyst? How your pregnancy looked like? Was everything good?
I had 6 MC before and I'm so stressed!

Hello! I had a similar sized cyst at a similar time in my pregnancy (picked up at private scan around 8/9 weeks), they said to keep an eye on it at scans and it just went away by itself and was never mentioned again. They said it might cause some pain but it never did. And I went on to have a healthy full term pregnancy :) hope this helps xx

Same for me, picked up at 8 weeks was gone by 12 weeks scan. Caused a bit of a niggly pain but nothing major.

I've read that some woman was monitored every 2 weeks because of it so I panicked a little

I hope this will reassure rather than alarm you but I had a 13cm cyst that wasn't picked up until my caesarean! The surgeon very nonchalantly told me she'd drained it and it shouldn't come back. I've no idea how it fit in there with my massive baby - no wonder I felt large! Anyway, it caused no problems either during or after pregnancy :)
