Clear blue test result

Hello,

Just curious as to when you would test 2-3 weeks on a digital?

I'm certain of my dates as we only DTD once so I'm around 3+5 today (12dpo) but my clear blue test has come back 2-3 weeks? Anybody else had this?

These tests are notoriously crap. They should be taken with a pinch of salt, just a novelty thing

I believe those tests measure from actual conception, not from LMP. So if you’re 12 DPO, it seems to me that you might have high values of hormone in your urine for 11-12 days post-conception, which could indicate a good, sticky pregnancy… or two?

That’s just a bit of speculation though. Of course you will want to get any medical advice from your doctor or midwife.

Ah okay thank you. We do have two sets of twins in the family so it could be possible!

hey ! did it end up being twins ? just wondering as I got a positive pregnancy test at day 11 and then blue test said 2-3 weeks at 15 days. not sure if this is normal? thanks xx

ah brillaint congratulations! 😁 how exciting! so my test would be right? when you say 3weeks 4days is that from your last period or when you DTD? I'm reading so much stuff that says my test should be 1-3 so just curious as can't afford to go for a private scan!

It’s my understanding that the digital test measures closer to DPO, not LMP. So if you’re 15 days post ovulation, then that’s 2 weeks and 1 day.

Don’t fret too much about not getting a private scan. There isn’t much to see this early on anyway. For your own mental peace, I would not get a scan until at least after the date when there should be a heartbeat, which is still some time away.
