Hi, I’m 34+6 I’m rhesus negative & had sex last night & there was a spot of blood on the bed afterwards which I noticed this morning. I phoned the labour ward & said because it was a small amount & no other symptoms that I don’t need to come in & get the anti d but I’m still worried. Anyone else experienced this & not had anti d?

What blood group is the babies father? If be is neg as well you won't need the anti d at all.

Is this your 1st pregnancy? If it is then there's a very slim chance of yours and babies blood mixing anyway. You're more at risk if you had a bump/fall. The bleeding after sex is likely because your cervix is more sensitive so it's just been irritated a bit. Try not to worry.

Did you have the anti d earlier? They used to give it to you around 20 weeks? Also at one point they only gave it to you in the first pregnancy and it "covered you" for the others (this criteria changed in-between my pregnancies so I've had it in all three vile goop that it is)
