I had spotting and then some bleeding at 6 weeks went in for an internal scan and all looked fine they just couldn't see baby's heartbeat yet as it's still small so have to go back next week.
The day after the bleeding I had brown blood so wasn't concerned as it's just old blood and not new but it's been 2 days since the scan and I know Internal scans can cause slight spotting but I've now been passing this brown blood for 2. Days just wondering if anyone else had had something similar or if I should be worried.
The doctor didn't seem worried about my bleeding when I wine in for my scan in fact they didn't even say what could've caused it im just an overthinker 😅

I had lots of brown blood and some red blood on and off for the first 12 or so weeks.

The cause of all that blood and worry is now nearly 6 years old.

It was really scary at the time, so I completely understand why you would be worried but hopefully hearing it from someone else will help.

Hello! Currently 16 weeks pregnant and have gone a whole week without a bleed! This came as thick brown discharge and bright red blood too! I think the cause of mine was recurrent thrush that was a bugger to shift even with creams and pessaries! Had scans and heard the heartbeat and everything was fine and the docs told me that if I had clots and/or severe cramping to get up to A&E. I'm not health professional but might be worth having swabs just to check for an infection just incase! Congrats btw ☺️

I’ve experienced the exact same thing. Went for a scan and they saw a heartbeat, didn’t seem worried about the fact that I was still bleeding at all and didn’t give me a reason for it. Just hoping everything will be ok!
