Is it just me or do we all have a fat day

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and work full time. I used to be a big ol gym goer before but haven’t been for 2 weeks due to constant cramps (got checked all ok, just a pooey history with endometriosis). I generally eat balanced but today I feel like a bottomless Pitt and want all the junk. I know it’s no biggie if you don’t eat like that everyday but it’s a bit cheeky considering Im less active !

is this just me ? I say this as I’ve finished a few choccy hob jobs and some revels haha

I'm 27 weeks and have had many fat days.

It’s probably easier to count my non-fat days in pregnancy as they’d be on one hand and probably before I even realised I was pregnant.

Your metabolic rate will be higher hence I was often surprised by v little weight gain after seemingly long stints of being a bottomless pit. Indulge yourself in moderation with junkier stuff and eat lots of wholesome, hearty food regularly. I craved childhood favourites in the winter like sausage and mash. I personally gave up the gym during pregnancy as I changed my exercise routines to yoga and walking, swimming v occasionally etc. I made it my aim to put on 30 lbs too (recommended to me if I wanted a guide) as I was v slim before. I believe this prevented me from getting pregnant initially so I was quite cautious about gaining ample weight. Congratulations.

Be kind to yourself and eat what feels good. You won’t suddenly get fat from a few biscuits. It’s ok to eat and it’s ok to put on weight. I’m sure youre doing great.
