sharp pains 15 weeks pregnant

have just started having a very sharp pain in my pelvic area , around one side towards my hip . sharp and sudden and stops me i n my tracks . very worried

I would contact midwife if worried, but could be pelvic girdle pain - your hormones are telling your ligaments to stretch out at moment and unfortunately it is an uncomfy process. Your body is having to do things it never has before remember! But do give your GP or midwife a call just to make sure. PG is full of weird aches and pains, but there is advice you can take re exercises etc that will help.

thanks ,this is my 2nd pregnancy but its amazing how much you forget about discomforts etc.

I was constantly down at antenatal worrying about every twinge at first - still am! Better to be safe than sorry I figure and 9 times out of 10 is nowt to worry about.
