Shops where you can see travel systems in real life?

Hi all. Are there any physical shops where you can go and see baby travel systems? There’s loads of info online but I’d like to be able to see and feel the quality. I have a Fiat 500 so very small car. If anyone has any recommendations for compact travel systems that would be great too. Thanks.

There's Mamas and Papas, they often have a range and can try it in your car. Depends on where you are in the country? You might need to Google it, there are some smaller individual shops that have them. Can't comment on the small travel system, mine definitely takes up most of the boot.

Mothercare used to be so good for this.

John Lewis are great, you can book a free no obligation appt to test things out. Baby arrived before our appointment 😬 but it looked like a good service 😂

Google pram shops. There are independent ones. I’m central belt in Scotland and there’s one in Falkirk and one in Glasgow and Edinburgh I think.

We have an independent pram retailer in my town. I'm near Bristol.

Boots - would have been a bit more helpful if you had said where you were based.

Thanks everyone. I’m based in Bedfordshire. Will check out the local John Lewis and Smyths.

https://www.bumpstartbabyshop.co.uk/ this is near Milton Keynes. Does the same kind of appointment that John Lewis does where they can go through everything with you - i think they have a bigger range as well. We're only 12 weeks at the moment but a friend of mine has just recommended it to me, we're on the Cambridgeshire/ Bedfordshire border.

I got my travel system from John Lewis & my MacLaren buggy from Smyths as both had them sent up so you could try them & feel how heavy they were & how high the handles were.

Thank you everyone that’s really helpful 💛
