Early pregnancy backache

As anyone had extreme backache in early pregnancy? Im 5 weeks + 2 days. I've been doctors twice and both times she said its unrelated to the pregnancy but I've only suffered with it since being around 4 weeks. I'm worried I'm going have another miscarriage.

Yes I have! And I have asked around a lot on here and loads of others said they had it too. I am just 6 weeks and had it before I missed my period, and again at 5w - 5w5d. Really freaked me out too but I guess its normal?

Thank you for replying I really appreciate it. Was it across your lower back too? Its horrendous isn't it. Its like a constant pain and can't get comfortable

Not back ache but lots of pain in my left bum cheek! When I’ve googled and asked for advice sciatica has been mentioned a lot, isn’t that related to your back as well? Either way, hope you feel better soon. It’s mad how soon these things kick in! X

@Cmh0089o yeah right across lower back, a little over on the left of anything. It doesn't move and randomly goes away then comes back again.
I also get sciatica but that's a different pain, and much more in the bum! That is also very common in pregnancy though.

Backache is a very common symptom in early pregnancy.

I am 12 weeks tomorrow and have had really painful lower back aches and also period like cramps. Totally scary but toally normal.

The hormones can affect peoples ligaments differently.

Thank you so much to you all for replying it's appreciated. Just a little update,it turned out my backache was due to anxiety! I've had a scan and baby's got a really good heartbeat!
