I think paracetamol is about one of the few things you can take. Most of the cold/flu remedies normally have loads of other crap in, so I would stick with paracetamol.

So, all you need is:

Paracetamol
a cup of tea
a glass of water
a good book
a nice warm bed

Put your feet up and do naff all until you feel better

awww I had this only at 40 weeks, about 2 weeks ago (baby now here-but apparently, they tend not to arrive while you're feeling crap)

it was just VILE

yes you are stuck with the stuff ILTMIMI suggested, sorry

what you can take is stuff like honey + lemon.

I actually resorted to drinking rock's lemon squash on the grounds that it tasted a bit like lemsip and thusly was comforting.

lol @ lemon squash placebo

Oh dear fillyjonk - no hope for me at 41 weeks just coming down with a cold. Whenever will this baby arrive if it's avoiding arriving while I'm ill?

Softmusk - I really hope your cold gets better soon despite the lack of proper cold remedies suitable during pregnancy.

thank you cold feeling bit better now lots of honey and lemon

but have been getting tummy pains day dont no if its the cold thats doing it or the baby thinks that it might be time to make its way in to the world
