I'm due my first baby in a couple of months after several losses and IVF journey. My SIL just announced her 3rd pregnancy, she is popping them out, and I still get that heartbreak feeling.

Is this normal?

I haven’t suffered from infertility but I’ve had 2 very bad deliveries now, and feel really sad and a bit envious when I read or hear about other people’s deliveries. I don’t want them to go through what I did, I just want to share their experience, if you see what I mean! And will always be a bit sad that DD and DS’s entrance were so stressful and chaotic. 💐 for you xx

I still felt like this during my first (IVF) pregnancy and even when DC1 was a baby, but sometime either during my second pregnancy or shortly after DC2 was born (can't remember exactly) the feeling stopped, as I remember being surprised at suddenly feeling really excited for other people when they announced pregnancies instead of heartbroken for myself, and even went through a stage of feeling almost relieved it wasn't me who was pregnant alongside being excited for them. So yes definitely still normal to feel that was, but there is hope it may not be like that forever.
