Hi
I have just found out I am pregnant and I had very very sore breast since Saturday. Due to recurring miscarriages I am out on aspirin and progesterone pessaries (Cyclogest) and started the treatment last night.. I woke up this morning and no more symptoms... has this happened to anybody under progesterone? I am really worried now 😔 thank you!

I’m on them, just found out on Thursday. I’ve not had any symptoms other than a few cramps.
Have you got an early scan booked due to your miscarriages?

CarpeDiem75 · 16/05/2023 11:31

Thanks for your response. Yes the GP told me she would do a referral for an early scan. Not really looking forward to it to be hoe at as all the past times were bad news... I feel sick just thinking about it!
Are you on progesterone for the same reasons as me?

Hi!
I'm on cyclogest as well since last week, I'm currently 8+5
And yeah, I can say my symptoms faded away as well! The only thing that stayed is nausea on certain days...

@CarpeDiem75 I’ve had them before.

I know this is an old thread but @CarpeDiem75 how did you get on??

I’m on Cyclogest due to previous miscarriage and at nearly 7 weeks I have no symptoms and it’s worrying me!!!!

CarpeDiem75 · 14/07/2023 17:10

@Hopefulhoney6 unfortunately I miscarried a few days after this... but I knew the cyclogest would probably not help as I think I have issues with the quality of my eggs rather than keeping a pregnancy. Have you had many miscarriages too? Good luck xx

@CarpeDiem75 oh I’m so sorry to hear that. Was it a natural miscarriage as I’ve also heard cyclogest can prevent that? How do you find out you have poor egg quality?
One of my friends had three miscarriages and then went for IVF with an embryo that she could have tested for abnormalities (alongside having NK cell treatment etc) and it’s been successful so I have hope for you :)

I’ve only had one miscarriage - it was a missed miscarriage that grew to about 6 weeks and then I had a D&C to remove it. No cause known. That operation left me with scarring in my uterus so I had to have a further operation to remove the scars. And my consultant then put me on cyclogest for this pregnancy. Early scan next week, and for some reason I just don’t feel hopeful.

@Hopefulhoney6 I think it is an egg maturation issue as i had this issue with my first pregnancy and then went into having a treatment and got pregnant with my first child. I have been trying naturally this time around and every time it doesn't develop after 5 weeks and I ovulate quite late so anyway will try to get stimulated again and see how it goes!
I really hope that it goes well for your first scan 😊 it will be a relief to see the little heartbeat!! Let me know how you are doing!
I was going to say if you didn't have any symptoms this far doesn't mean something is wrong 😊 Last time my issue was the opposite I had stein symptoms the first week and then they just stopped!

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

Have you tried Ubiquinol? I took these as I was ovulating on day 11 and I don’t think my eggs were mature enough. Every time I’ve had them and taken them for 6 weeks, I have had a viable pregnancy.
