Do I HAVE to take antibiotics after termination?

Just wondering if anyone knows if I absolutely have to take the antibiotic I was given? I had a surgical termination earlier today and I have problems with my ears and have read that the antibiotic they gave me can cause hearing damage.

I’ve read that the risk of infection is low anyway, has anyone ever skipped theirs?

I mean, you don't HAVE to do anything OP, but it's advised. As it is NICE advise against routine antibiotics for medical but advise them for surgical.
