So looking forward to meeting little DS-to-be... have decided "not to find out" but is there any way this nub is anything other than male? Could it possibly be a leg? Or are we 100%

I would have guessed boy but it’s very possible that it’s just a leg or part of the chord making it look that way.

I have two boys are they are fab 😆
