Growth scan

Hiya guys was wondering if anyone will help me calm my nerves I'm 32 weeks and had a midwife appointment today she has booked me in for a growth scan since at 28weeks he was measuring 30 and now at 32 he's measuring a week behind he is upside down and she said he's more down in my pelvic area then last time surely he's not ready to come out yet?! Xx

Hi @Katiem21 I’ve just been for a growth scan but because I was measuring ahead by 2 weeks. The bump measurement is such guess work, from the scan they’ve said she’s perfectly average for how far along I am (31 weeks).

Even the scan measurements can be off cos the sonographer had to measure her belly 5 times to get the measurements to match!

Try not to worry too much and I’m sure some others will be along with similar stories ❤️

Measuring with the tape is so inaccurate, I've had so many growth scans over my 3 pregnancies because my bump measures small with the tape but babies have always been fine and measure bigger at the scan, try not to worry easier said than done I know.

Thankyou hun they've said he's shifted wayyy down into my pelvis so could be reason why my bump sized smaller but everything looked good x

Thankyou for letting me know they said he was growing perfectly only reason is it's because he's far down into my pelvis I keep getting the odd cramps which is lovely 💙
