I know this is a totally duh question..but I'm a first time pregnant due to be mum..
I've read the box thoroughly..
And obviously it's processed but it's fruit..
Don't judge me 🫣

Are you allowed to eat Mr Kipling apple and blackcurrant pies?

Yes.

If the midwife said not to eat it, don't eat it. Otherwise you can eat everything and anything. So yes, cake is ok!

Thankyou! I can stop drooling at the box now

My NCT classes were fuelled by the revolting, but mildly addictive sugar high that is Mr Kipling’s Iced Fancies.

Of course!

The NHS website really does have the best guidelines for what is safe to eat in pregnancy. It's so easy to find all kinds of weird information with the internet.

What do you think would be unsafe about a mr kipling cake?
not trying to be an arse but if you worry that you have to check every single thing you eat despite it having zero of the ingredients that are not recommended for pregnant women you'll be spending half your life worrying!
There are a few things you should avoid, the NHS website says what they are. Everything else is fair game.
