Hello,

really was hoping somebody could give advice or share experiences.

according to my last period im supposed to be 6+2 pregnant. I have endo and usually I experience severe cramping in the first 10 weeks (I have a 2 year old and had to have a pregnancy medically terminated in December 2022).

I have been to the epau for a scan last week who said to me gestation indicated I was earlier than 5 weeks which confused me and worried me that something was wrong. I have had the same symptoms with this pregnancy, however I have today experienced some bleeding. It was only when I wiped, had minimal abdominal pain little bit of back pain. but the bleeding has now completely stopped.

im trying to cling on to hope that there’s nothing serious wrong but I am under the impression I’m miscarrying. I’m just wondering if this has happened to anybody else in terms of the bleeding stopping and continuing to have a healthy pregnancy? Or has this happened to anybody who’s miscarried and the bleeding has stopped then started again.

epau have just said to wait until a rescan in a couple of weeks which is awful as I’m really anxious.

really appreciate any advice thank you 🙏🏽

I had small amounts of red blood when I wiped - turned out to be a cervical ectropion. I'm now 11+5 and still bleeding intermittently! I had positive scans at 7+2 and 9+6 so I'm now anxiously waiting to check all ok at my dating scan. I hope all turns out OK for you. I should be 12+1 from my LMP but I know I ovulated 3 days later than the 14 days they assume (and thats what the scans lined up with) so that could be a reason for dates being off.

I bled heavily with my second at about 20 weeks and he's 10 now. Fingers crossed for you

thank you for replying and sharing your experience! Can I ask how far you was when it first happened? And did they do anything to treat and how did they diagnose?

Hope everything goes ok and you have a healthy pregnancy 🙏🏽

I would say started first time about week 6, was seen at EPAU at 7+2 due to delays in referall. They did a scan and checked me over before deciding ectropion. Not really any way to treat it in my case. It certainly makes for an anxious time!

Anything can spark it off bleeding. Bowel movements, sex, exercise. My DH is very calm and helpful and he really is much of the opinion I should rest and not push myself to help with housework etc because he knows I'll just bleed and get anxious.

Aww bless you really must be worrying for you.

Hopefully it’s nothing big but we will see over the next few days. Thank you again and all the best x

@elllie12356 Do you mind me asking what your update was? I’m going through very similar now and having to wait until Tuesday for a scan with EPU.
