Nausea all day long

Hey ladies,
I have had nausea for a few weeks now but it has really ramped up this week resulting in a few actual times being sick and it lasts basically all day. I feel like I’m in a circle if I don’t eat often I feel nauseous however the thought of eating and actually eating makes me feel ill. Even water makes me feel sick as it feels like it’s then just lying in my belly. Nothing seems to work except for lying down and I have a wee one at home so that’s not an option lol. I’ve tried ginger nuts, ginger sweets from Holland and Barrett, crackers l, eating small and often etc. thinking of trying an anti sickness band? Does anyone have anything else that works 😞

I found Granny Smith apples really helped my nausea. I was constantly nibbling on one.

And raisins helped, I think because they gave me a bit of a sugar boost but aren't substantial so didn't upset my stomach.

Walkers baked ready salted crisps were pretty much the only thing that helped me. Plus eating a banana in the middle of the night stopped me feeling as sick in the mornings when I woke up

Marmite on toast helped me.

I feel for you! I'm in exactly the same boat - constant nausea and all food and drink makes me gag. Really cold fresh orange juice is all I can stomach to drink. Food wise, fresh mango and watermelon is good, and helps with dehydration too. I've ended up getting anti sickness medication from the GP and it has helped a lot (it hasn't gone completely but I dread to think how bad it would be without it).

How far along are you? It does get easier in the second trimester. Apparently...

Hope it eases for you soon, I have the greatest empathy x

Only thing that helped me was drinking sprite whenever the nausea would start! It was like an off button.

Agreed with @WeWereInParis regarding apples, I lived on sharp sour cold green apples for the first 14 weeks. I have hyperemesis though so I'm still being sick/nauseous at 38 weeks. Hope yours eases off and congratulations xx

I found orange juice very good, and lemon barley squash.
Best thing was thise travel wrist bands. My midwife recommended them and they were a real life saver.

I’m just short of 9 weeks! I had nausea with my first but honestly my brain must have blocked out how tough it was 😂 was also easier last time round because I could just lie down! It did ease off in the second trimester for me but that seems Miles away atm 😭😂

Water is shocking for nausea!
I had hyperemesis so nothing worked but I found stuff like sprite, fanta even ribena were far more tolerable.
Often trial and error but I agree apple slices are a good shout.
I hope it eases off for you soon, 100% the worst part of my pregnancies

@TTCB2 hi, I don't have a magic answer to give you but I feel your pain!! I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and have felt sick/been sick every day since week 5. It's really rough. In the end I had to get medication from the GP to help and it certainly has taken the edge off, so maybe worth having a chat with them to find out what could work for you. Hoping it eases for us soon, I just keep thinking about getting a baby at the end 😍 hang in there!

I’m so with you on this, nausea all day not actually been sick yet, awake most of the night with it too, just been to get a bit of cereal as I think because I’m only having soup for tea it’s waking me up because I’m actually hungry but I couldn’t eat a full meal I feel so sick! I’m 6+4 so hoping it eases soon or I may go to the drs for some anti sickness too! Good luck!
