Can I carry on weight training?

Just curious as I've read conflicting information online.

We are currently trying to get pregnant, but I've also recently started working out more and in particular weight training. Can I carry on lifting if I get pregnant?

Thanks,

Yes yes yes

Carry on doing what you were before for as long as you feel comfortable. Being physically fit not only helps in labour (people say it's like a marathon, well then why would we not build our strength for that!) But also with recovery. The only thing you need to be careful with is maintaining proper control of your core. Once you 'pop' avoid pure ab exercises like sit up and plank. Swap for bird dog and pallof press.

I was doing CrossFit, scaled appropriately, until my due date with DD.
