Cervical length

Hi all, so basically I am currently 19wks pregnant with baby no.2. After my first child was born (8 years ago) I had LLETZ for CIN3 and a subsequent procedure 5 years ago due to ongoing bleeding. I have been referred for cervical length scans during this pregnancy, and so far I've had one at 17wks which was 31mm. The consultant told me it is fine, but I need another scan at 20wks and 22wks. I didn't think much of it until I googled "normal lengths" and then panic set in. Because I was worrying about how much it could change in 3 weeks, I had a private scan last week at 18wks, however the sonographer measured it in 2 measurements and added them together making it 32mm, and did not make me empty my bladder beforehand. She also told me there is a lot of scarring on my cervix. Since then I have googled more and I am not reassured but having to wait until next week for my 20wk scan to check the length again.

I feel really clueless So basically my questions are:
How quickly did others cervical lengths change? Am I worrying over nothing about the length it was last measured?

Should I be reassured by the private scan and how it was measured even though it was different to the first one I had?

How does scarring affect cervical length and pregnancy in general?

Sorry for the long post, just feeling a little bit anxious and confused over it all, thanks for any help anyone can offer xx

I had this in my last pregnancy and this one. My last one it didn’t change at all. This time once again they’ve said it’s good at 16 weeks. I don’t go back until 22 weeks.

stay away from google, trust the doctors
