Pink Discharge (Picture Warning)

Hi lovely MN community.

Currently around 7 weeks with DC number 4 and since Sunday I've had small amounts of pinkish discharge. No bright red blood and only on occasion when wiping, not all day, not every time I wipe and definitely not enough to stain my underwear or need a pad. No pain and still testing positive on tests, I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I have an appointment at EPU tomorrow but as I've never experienced this before with any previous pregnancies I'm really anxious.

Has anyone experienced something similar in early pregnancy?

Anyone have any personal experience? I'm aware that it may not be a good sign.

Hello, sorry you're having some spotting, I know how stressful it is! I had pink and brown spotting on and off for the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy - and I'm now typing this with our 4 month old in my arms. Spotting can be so common, and the majority of pregnancies with spotting do NOT end in miscarriage. Good luck for your scan!

I had this on and off throughout my first trimester, had a few visits to the EPU and all was fine. I’m now 21 weeks and everything is perfect, no spotting since about 13 weeks 😊

I have a cervical erosion pre pregnancy so they think it could’ve been due to this, or a subchorionic hematoma which showed on a very early scan. I know all too well how worrying it is and I searched this forum countless times myself for reassurance. I have my fingers crossed for you

Thank you both that's reassuring.

Since having DC3 I've had some similar spotting after sex and had my smear test booked for next week(obviously won't be going now), so that's worrying to as I'm aware it could be something not necessarily connected to pregnancy. Hopefully tomorrow's scan will give me some answers either way.

I was having the same for years, spotting after sex and intense exercise and turns out it was the cervical erosion (which is nothing to worry about thankfully!).

@stac011 that's good to know thank you. I'll definitely mention it tomorrow. Hopefully it's something minor.

I've experienced bleeds with my past pregnancies, all later in the pregnancy and all OK thankfully but never this early on.
