Ovulation after miscarriage

I had surgery for miscarriage four weeks ago. I’ve been spotting for a few days and I’m confused as to whether it’s my period or not. My pregnancy tests only started turning negative a few days ago - so am I right in thinking I can’t have ovulated two weeks ago while I still had HCG in my body? In which case this isn’t a period but something else? Any opinions appreciated!

Technically they say u can’t ovulate until hcg is undetectable but I’ve heard of lots of cases where people have ovulated when it’s quite low and decreasing.

since u only got a negative test recently this could be ur body ovulating now with a small bit of spotting? Have u tried ovulations tests?

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I had a miscarriage witt ERPC and remember I did have some spotting before my cycle started again, think it was just my body sorting itself out! I ovulated after then my cycle was fine. (And got pregnant 3 cycles later - hope you fall again quickly!)
