Comfortable shoes?

Hi all,

I am at a point where my belly is getting slightly bigger and bending forward has become a little more difficult. Does anyone have any recommendations in regard to shoes? I want something that's comfortable to wear in the summer and easy to put/slip on without much bending down. I find tying my shoelaces a little struggle now. Bonus point if I can wear them to work. I was thinking of Van slip ons for causual wear but they are not the most formal for work (I normally wear work trousers for work). Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

I think the full black vans slip ons would be fine.

I usually wear laced trainers for work and can slip them on with a shoe horn, you can buy a long one to deal with the bending problem!

Ah yes, the shoe horn, forgot about those. Thanks for the reminder. We only have a short one at home which I rarely use and I always thought the long ones are more for the elderly, so wrong I have been!

Will check out the full black vans. Thanks.

I love my loafers for work nice and comfy but smart too :)

I just bought Sketchers slip-ins which are designed so you don't need to bend over at all to pull them on. Your foot just goes in easily. They're really comfortable and not bad looking as far as sketchers go. Not sure if they have ones suitable for work though?

Plain vans for work, and crocs for home 🤣

Check out Allbirds. Soooo comfy. I am living in the slip ons.

Toms used to do a really comfy one with a thicker sole than their trademark thin-soled canvas things. Unfortunately I can't find them on the website this year 🤦🏻‍♀️ it's a shame as they had some great prints! Their sandals are comfy though

Birkenstocks were my saviour. The only shoes I could fit on my mega swollen pre-eclamptic feet! Nice support and adjustable to accommodate all the lovely pregnancy side effects.
