Hi,

currently 13w 4 days pregnant. Since around 9 weeks I’ve been so exhausted to the point I can’t really function. I though by now it might have got better but seems to be showing no sign of budging. I went to bed last night at 8pm and slept through until 7am but still have woken up exhausted! I feel like my head is too heavy for my body it’s such a horrible feeling! Has anybody experienced this and it ended soon? So fed up with it.

I was exhausted between 9 and 13 weeks too. Started to feel a bit more human at 14 weeks so you might be just around the corner! Everyone is different though.

Have you had your iron and ferritin levels checked? I've been on iron tablets since week 10 or so, and anything time I don't take them I'm definitely more tired as well as dizzy

Second trimester generally felt pretty good then tiredness hit again third trimester followed by a burst of energy 38-42 weeks.

Third trimester is generally better, they they stop talking to you and only come out of their rooms for food, lifts and clean PE kit about 13 years later.

I was exhausted all through my first tri and some of my second tri. Then I was fine. However, since I hit my third tri I’ve been absolutely exhausted again. I’m over 31 weeks now.

When they leave home? But even then you have the odd sleepless night wondering if they are OK 👍

just (kinda) kidding personally I felt better at around 15 weeks then worse again around 30/35 weeks
