Lost mucus plug at 30+4 !

Hi all,
Yesterday I just went about my day, went to the gym as usual, and then rested on the couch for the afternoon/evening.
When going to pee at around 9pm, I notice a pretty big (size of a finger or 2), clear gelatinous blob. I called the midwives immediately and confirmed that I had lost my mucus plug!

Now, I didn't/still don't, have cramps, contractions, no blood (neither on the mucus plug), so they just told me that it would grow back, and that it doesn't even warrant me coming in!
The baby is moving a lot as usual, this hasn't stopped or slowed down, and doesn't feel lower down than usual or anything.

The midwives told me that this is thus not an indication of early labour and that I shouldn't worry so long as I don't have cramps/contractions/reduced fetal movement

Has anyone else experienced an early mucus plug loss?

You lose bits and bobs of it all through pregnancy, totally normal. It regenerates.

It's not the same as when you have your 'bloody show' near labour. Don't worry :)

Yes I lost mine a similar gestation to you in my first pregnancy. It grew back I presume as I carried her to 40+5!
