Lump in the armpit?

Hi all, I'm FTM currently 25w. Starting from the beginning of Apr a small lump appeared in my armpit. It doesn't hurt, feels soft and is moveable. My GP had a look and didn't think there's anything to worry about it because it's in the middle of the armpit and there's nothing unusual in the breasts. Now a month later and the lump is still there, sometimes it feels bigger sometimes smaller. Wonder if anyone else also has similar experience in pregnancy?? Thanks!

I had one of these - it popped up at 39 weeks and is still there 7 months pp!! I had it checked (ultrasound) at a breast cancer clinic and it is excess tissue that got pushed up as a result of all the hormones.
always worth getting it checked out though! I was referred on the two week cancer pathway and for my piece of mind I am so glad it was properly checked!!

I’ve just been through the same thing! A pea sized lump in my L armpit that was slightly tender.. gp referred to breast clinic but reassured me saying it’s likely hormones due to pregnancy. Seen within 4 days by a consultant in the breast clinic and he didn’t even ultrasound as he was so confident it was a cyst caused by hormones as he could feel it separate to my lymph node. 1 month later and my R armpit has exactly the same lump! The GP wants me to come back after I’ve had the baby just to check they’ve gone.

I had one of these (wasn't pregnant), got sent to breast clinic and after all the checks it was an infected cyst which some antibiotics cleared up. A few months later one appeared in the other armpit but went on it's own and I've had a couple over the last year.

@katerose2022 as you are pregnant, it could be accessory breast tissue. My armpits swell due to extra breast tissue in my armpits (believe it or not, fairly common but not many people talk about it!) Would defo get a scan to check though!

Thank you all for the comments! I'll see if my GP can refer me to a scan just to be on the safe side.
