Holiday in September; I'll be around 26 weeks, advice!

Hi everyone
I can't go away til September for various reasons. I'm overweight and I'll be 26 weeks and I really want to go abroad for one final child free holiday!
Apart from the ridiculous expense of seemingly all abroad holidays this year, I am wondering how I'll feel, and im also thinking I won't want to be walking around much in a hot place, air con will be important!
This is my first... what would you advise? Should I stay, go, wait til nearer the time to see how im feeling?
Thank you!

When you say overweight, how overweight?

in itself… travelling at 26 weeks is absolutely fine.

but - that is obviously dependent on your pregnancy and how high risk it is. Hence my question

It's hard to know how you'll feel really, it's so changeable and different for everyone.

I felt completely fine at 26 weeks during my last pregnancy, we didn't go abroad because of covid but I would have loved to.

This pregnancy I'm much more tired (I'm just 12 weeks so hopefully I'll perk up in second trimester) but we have a holiday to Italy booked at 18 weeks and I'm looking forward to it although I suspect I'll be in that awful in-between stage where all my clothes are too tight and uncomfortable but maternity clothes don't fit right yet.

I made a similar post about going away at 16 weeks and everyone said the flight and heat would be fine. But of course see how you’re feeling nearer the time/any risk factors etc x
