Hi everyone,
My story begins like this.. It's been a couple of months that i've been having full blown pregnancy symptoms as in abdominal cramps, backaches, sensitive to smell to even wanna throw up, breast are sensitive to touch, headaches and dizziness.. But keep get my periods every month, one time my period was a month late and the other time it started again after 10 days of stopping.. all test i've done came back negative (at home and blood test). My biggest wish was to be a mom but my body keeps disappointing me.. I even had to go do a small surgery cause i was diagnosed with CIN3 last year.. I've have no stress or anything.. i read so many things online.. i'm only asking is why??

Have you had any follow up after your operation @srpgmh?

srpgmh · 08/05/2023 10:27

Sorry OP. I know how hard it is. I managed to become pregnant pretty easy, but didn't manage to make the pregnancy stick. All test we had turned out ok. And I kept asking the same question... why...

Did you have any investigations done?

Best wished to you!

srpgmh · 08/05/2023 16:57

@BabyHope1 not trying anymore to get pregnant, my partner and i called it quit.. and i personally don't wanna have babies after 35.. soon i'll be 34.. i'm just soooo disappointed that my body betrayed so much.. and was wondering if anyone experiencing the same as me..

I can understand you are anxious OP. But I don't really understand what you mean by your body betraying you...

PickledScrump · 08/05/2023 18:48

Have you had fertility tests done? The pregnancy symptoms you are describing can be caused by many things not just pregnancy. They may indicate a hormone imbalance.

srpgmh · 08/05/2023 20:04

As in giving me false hope @BabyHope1

As in giving all these symptoms and not be positive in the end@BabyHope1

@PickledScrump can't get them done easily here must be trying for more than a year.. i asked my doctor to get it done but was rejected

I'm ok that it wasn't my calling.. but i just got high hopes when i was getting those symptoms.. cause i never got them in the past.. they were so precise even people around me thought i really was pregnant but false alarm.. that's something i really don't wish on anyone whom wants to be a mother..

@srpgmh it can take perfectly healthy couples an average of 12 months of trying before falling pregnant which is why doctors won’t do fertility tests before that. If you haven’t been trying for a year, I understand it’s frustrating but it’s really not a reason to say your body is betraying you or giving up.

srpgmh · 08/05/2023 20:47

@PickledScrump i was trying for more than a year

@PickledScrump I'm stubborn that way sry hihihi.. but it made me so angry those months.. it wasn't a fun feeling after so many at home test and bloodtest..

But thanks for the support i think i just needed to get my frustration off my chest..

@srpgmh im confused. You said your doctor rejected tests as they said you need to be trying for more than a year, but you’re saying you were trying for more than a year. So why would your dr reject tests?

srpgmh · 08/05/2023 20:57

Cause of my age, too young @PickledScrump

@srpgmh where are you? In the uk if you have been trying for over a year regardless of age they will put you forward for fertility testing. If you are over 35 they will start testing after 6 months of trying.

can you pay for private testing?

But you have said you have been trying for more than a year. Sometimes it can be something “simple” to get things working

???? Your messages are contradictory. You’ve either been trying for a year or you haven’t. It’s not unusual for it to take time to get pregnant which is why they say wait a year before being investigated.
good luck

srpgmh · 08/05/2023 21:22

Got a msg from Gynaecologist today that I'll be doing a pap test in July to see if my CIN3 is gone.. so I'm focusing on that.. don't have a partner anymore so won't be focusing on being a mom before 35 anymore.. it sounds like I'm giving up on it i know but i always had it in my mind that after 35 would be able to have enough energy for my kids and time to watch and there in their childhood.. and i don't want to bring complications for my kids due to my age if i get them after 35.. it's fear too i think..
