Eight and a bit weeks and ZERO morning sickness

Literally none.
I do get a bit of acid, but this is mostly in the evenings... and very occasional.
Should I be worried? Midwife didn't seem too concerned by it but I don't have my scan til early June...
Has anyone else experienced this?

I had no morning sickness at all with both of my pregnancies. There were no problems. Some people just suffer more unfortunately.

DryIce · 07/05/2023 12:49

I've had two children and never had morning sickness either. Think it's luck of the draw

pebbles3004 · 07/05/2023 12:49

Yep, I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and I've felt fine. I'm exhausted, but had no nausea. It's normal, pregnancy symptoms are a wide range for everyone, and subsequent pregnancies can be very different.

This is my 3rd - first I felt sick when hungry. 2nd I was quite sick for a few weeks, vomiting a few times in the afternoons. And as I say this time I feel fine.

Try not to worry!

Brisland · 07/05/2023 12:54

I had absolutely no sickness during my pregnancy - there wasn’t anything wrong, I just was one of those who didn’t get it! Enjoy your vomiting free pregnancy 😊

YouJustDoYou · 07/05/2023 12:56

Not everyone gets it. Count yourself lucky!

GlitterDragon · 07/05/2023 12:59

10 weeks tomorrow and no sickness. Lots of nausea though. I’ve asked around and apparently it’s not as common as people make out 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lastminutebride · 07/05/2023 12:59

2 pregnancies and no morning sickness what’s so ever

shivawn · 07/05/2023 13:04

No, no reason to be worried. I didn't have morning sickness with either pregnancy.

Try not to get hung up on symptoms, they're not a sign of anything.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 07/05/2023 13:04

I dislike all of you 🤣

Congratulations, OP.

CityKity · 07/05/2023 13:11

Almost 28 weeks over here and had zero nausea or morning sickness the entire pregnancy so far. To be honest I was feeling so ‘normal’ ahead of my 12 week scan I had mentally prepared myself for either a missed miscarriage or a phantom pregnancy, but everything was totally fine (to my surprise!).
I think you should count yourself lucky as I have friends who have barely been able to function due to sickness. Try not to worry and enjoy not being sick!

gettingolderbutcooler · 07/05/2023 13:18

Never had it with my twin pregnancy!

Redannie118 · 07/05/2023 13:19

3 pregnancies and no nausea at all. Little bit towards the end when tummy was squished! My midwife said its very normal and nothing to worry about.

WandaWonder · 07/05/2023 13:20

I had an odd stomach for about 48 hours that was it, no cravings also

Sagittarius25 · 07/05/2023 13:27

15 weeks and no nausea or being sick at all. I think it's the most commonly thought about symptom but really, not everyone gets it, and everything is fine.

Upanddownthemerrygoround · 07/05/2023 13:30

I had none at all til I was 14 weeks.

thought I had a dodgy takeaway.

threw up most nights until 30 weeks then…

rllrsk8 · 07/05/2023 14:24

I had none either. Felt very lucky in a way, but also anxious in case something was wrong. But as you can see from all these comments, some people just don't suffer - so relax and enjoy - and congratulations!

Whathefisgoingon · 07/05/2023 15:23

I felt nauseous twice in my first pregnancy and I have so far felt nauseous a handful of times in my second, and I’ve never thrown up.

Loulou2202 · 07/05/2023 17:26

I have zero symptoms at all, I thought I had a bit of nausea one morning but think I was just hungry. Iv been trawling the threads on here looking for people in a similar situation ….really hoping like the ladies above that we are just going to be lucky and not suffer too much 🍀 x

bathtimeducks · 07/05/2023 17:30

Count yourself lucky, I have terrible morning sickness everyday all day with this pregnancy.

Had none with my dd, hardly any symptoms, she is now 9.

doeandfawn · 07/05/2023 17:59

Mine kicked in at 11.5 weeks and floored me. Very jealous of the people who got none! You might be late for it starting or you might just be very lucky and not get any.

gstv2104 · 07/05/2023 18:00

I stupidly bragged at 12 weeks about having none then it hit me hard from 13 until 20 weeks! Fingers crossed you continue to feel well Smile

PinkButtercups · 07/05/2023 18:02

I've never had morning sickness or any early pregnancy symptoms with my 3.

DS is nearly 4 now and Twins are 5 months old.

Summer2424 · 07/05/2023 18:03

Hi @Soundbathfan i had no morning sickness through out my whole pregnancy xx

PickledScrump · 07/05/2023 18:41

Not everyone gets nausea or sickness. I had no symptoms with my second. You’re one of the lucky ones

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 07/05/2023 19:18
