I want no2, husband not sure

Just as the title says...

We have a 17 month old little boy and we unfortunately had a miscarriage in December 2022. I would like to start trying again in a couple of months but tonight my husband has said he's not so sure anymore. Our little boy is going through a bit of a tough phase atm so not sure how related that is...

I suppose I'm asking if anyone's been through similar and their OH changed their mind?

It completely depends on why he's changed his mind. Is he saying not ever or not now?

Yes, but DC2 was only planned because of a miscarriage (unplanned pregnancy).
DC2 and DH get along like a house on fire and always have.

Can't imagine life if DC2 hadn't happened.

DH needed persuading for DC1 too.

I was the one that changed my mind between 18m and just after 2. Things were much tougher during that period quite a bit of bad sleep, tantrums and work was so stressful.

However after 2.5 have found things a lot easier again and could imagine having another. Have changed jobs where I have a better work life balance and I am now almost 11 weeks x
