i have a really regular cycle, and conceived both of mine around day 13 /14, and i have one of each... so, not convinced!

also, what about fraternal twins where there is one of each? they must be conceived around the same time!

dwtgoob: I would talk to your DH, too.

You can try as hard as you like to influence the sex of your child, and it might make a tiny bit of difference, and you could well have a little girl.

Does he want another child? Would he be happy - or resentful if a new baby was a girl?

I think there's some talking around this issue to be done.

LOL at the make a killing- my Sikh friend was trying to get me to go to her Gurdwara with her, as she reckoned I would be treated like a Queen LOL!

Funny though, lots of people give me sympathy here, no idea why.

I have fraternal twins that were conceived almost 2 weeks apart! on the 25th day of my cycle, only had unprotected sex the once too! boy/girl twins.

SO perhaps there is some truth in girl sperm surviving longer as she was the 2nd twin.

We did the shettles method as we really wanted a boy 2nd time round.....It worked!!

I have followed the method for a girl have 2 gorgeous boys already. Had sex on fri lunchtime and missionary, no orgasm (boo) and ov + stick on Sunday so few days b4 (had short cycle so bit close) anyway been told at 20wk that looks like baby has '3rd wicket' so a boy we thinks! happy as no roughly what 2do with boys.

Worth trying this method I really believed in the book and its method, but there is no guarantees and only do if it if you want a baby regardless.

I can't wait for this one!

blu - dh wants as many kids as it takes to have one boy. if it did end up that way he actually would be just fine and happy if he ended up with four or five girls.

Look out for the egg white goo!!! That is when you are OV, have sex on the days you have egg white goo. This is the best indicator of OV for me as I get a huge clump of the stuff (NICE EH??!)

I have a DS that was concieved on the day of OV.

Actually, Peachy, one of our local barbers is Asian and he gives me a look of immense respect when I walk in with the 3 boys! Irish people just tend to say "Oh my God, I pity you!" I really wish people wouldn't say that.
