I was told by the GP I could take loratadine which I took with my third and I'm taking it again this time round.
I get really bad hat fever to the point my eyes puff up so bad I can barely see. I drive as part of my job so I need to see!
Tree pollen is really high ATM and that's whats trying to kick my butt.

Sorry hay fever 🤣

Yep, many docs and consultants have given me the green light on loratadine, all saying the same thing: it’s be worse for the baby if I can’t breathe properly. Hope you can get it under control soon. It’s miserable on top of all the other joys of pregnancy symptoms.

I continued to take Fenofexadine (Fexofenidine?) during pregnancy. The GP I spoke to about it said it was my choice, technically they can't say it is safe because trials haven't been done on pregnant women, but that the mechanism on newer antihistamines not crossing the blood/brain barrier could be extrapolated to not crossing the placenta. (Caveat, not a medic!).

My Hay-fever was that bad I'd probably have crashed my car had I not been medicated, so definitely safer to take the antihistamines...
