Hi all, looking for some advice, first pregnancy and I have a large SCH, have started to have some brown discharge and now a little pink discharge.

Is this normal? Does this mean the Hemotoma is leaving my body? Has this lead to successful pregnancy?

Any help appreciated.

Thank you x

Hello! In same boat as you and absolutely terrified.

I’m 7+6, and for 10 days i’ve had brown spotting and mild cramps. Woke this morning to bright red blood with some clots in. I was terrified.

Was scanned and baby is fine, strong heartbeat. There’s a SCH though underneath the pregnancy sac measuring 32mm x 8mm.

I was told to expect more bleeding but that’s it. No aftercare and no idea what to do going forward or when to rescan.

Were you given an idea of the position and the measurements?

Mine’s an IVF pregnancy and I know lots of IVF’ers who have had them and been fine. I think they’re fairly common but of course we will worry non stop now.

I've had two this pregnancy- 9 weeks and 12 weeks. Massive clots. Thought it was all over but baby is fine and I'm 25 weeks now. Its such a scary thing to happen but hopefully that's all it is. I'd recommend no orgasms as my second SCH was right after one (no penetration was involved either)
