Has anyone got pregnant naturally with an endometrioma (chocolate cyst)?

At the end of March I found out for the first time at 41 years old that I was pregnant. Fast forward to today I have recently found out that I had an MMC. The heart stopped beating at 8 weeks. All the fertility tests I did last year were good. Hormone profile normal, HSG normal, small polyp removed at hysteroscopy. The only thing that they found was a chocolate cyst on my right ovary of about 2 to 2.5cm, they are not sure whether it is haemorrhagic cyst or indeed an endometrioma as the only way to find for sure is a laparoscopy. It is totally asymptomatic, was only found during routine US.
I have absolutely no symptoms of endometriosis like pain etc even though I know it doesn't rule it out. I am holding on to hope that it still could be a haemorrhagic cyst but unless I do a laparoscopy I won't know.
I would like to know if there are any ladies out there who managed to not only conceive but also give birth to a healthy baby despite having an endometrioma (unoperated). I want to consult an endometriosis specialist but would be interested in your experience!

Yes! I had a chocolate cyst (disgusting name isn’t it!?) found when having scans for unexplained infertility. I had no symptoms of endo such as pain and was waiting for a laparoscopy on the NHS when I got pregnant. The cyst was on the outside of one ovary pushing in and taking up room so in that sense it did hinder my chances of getting pregnant but after some unsuccessful treatment (ovulation induction) I actually fell pregnant naturally and had a straightforward pregnancy and birth. I was really freaked out by discussions around Endometriosis and it might come up as an issue again now my baby has been born but we’ll see! I really wish you luck.

@Teamworkdreamwork Thank you for your reply and for giving hope! How big was your cyst? Did you take any supplements before getting pregnant?

I was taking the Viridian supplements and also Myo-inositol for PCOS. The cyst was 2.5cm and my fertility doctor said they wouldn’t operate to remove anything less than 3cm (maybe 4cm I can’t remember). The clinic (private) made me feel that IVF was our only option for pregnancy but obviously it wasn’t in the end. My midwife told me in pregnancy that my possible Endometriosis wouldn’t affect pregnancy once I was actually pregnant. Of course this is all just my situation and I know Endometriosis can be completely debilitating for many women and will affect their pregnancy journey but I saw your post and really wanted to give you hope as so much is similar to our experiences of TTC.

@Teamworkdreamwork Thank you so much for your message and for giving me hope! I will go and see a specialist to discuss it all as I haven't really had the opportunity to do so last during all my tests. I really hope that what happened to you can happen to me too 😊
Going through a tough miscarriage that sent me to A&E last night so not feeling my best..

I got pregnant the first month of trying. I have an endometrioma the same size as yours and know for a fact that I ovulated from that ovary because of another condition I have. Good luck!

@Robin223 thank you for your reply. I also got pregnant from the ovary that has the cyst but sadly it didn't stick. I just hope I can get pregnant again quickly as time is running out for me.

I got pregnant month 1 which sadly ended in MC, they then discovered an endometrioma which they have done nothing about. I have a follow up with the consultant in a couple of weeks but just found out I'm pregnant. Hopefully this one sticks
