Bleeding 10 weeks pregnant

Hello, I thought I’d come on here for advice as I’ve had good advice on this forum before. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced bright red bleeding at 10 weeks? It started bank holiday Monday and is still going. I’ve had no cramping but the bleed is a bit heavier than spotting, like a light period. I’ve got a scan booked for tomorrow but am scared I’ve lost the baby. I never had this with my first pregnancy which was a successful one with twins, so I’m not sure what to expect. Can’t help thinking the worst. Does anyone have any experience where the worst didn’t happen?

@38andtrying I’ve been referred to the EPU by the Dr. Thanks for saying that. It’s hard not knowing either way.

I bled with all 4 twins and 2 singles but I didn't worry as I had seen it alot in extended family so wasn't uncommon to me

I'm currently 6 weeks and bled everyday for a week until today I'm still in limbo though as baby still there but no heart beat as of yet as I was before 6 weeks.

Please try not to worry my mum bled through out around the same time you are I pray and got my fingers crossed for you💗 didn't want to read and run as I know how stressful this can be without knowing and waiting💗

Hi all thank you so much for the support and sharing your experiences, they really have made me feel better. Unfortunately I started bleeding heavily with clots this evening and am getting cramping so am on my way to hospital. I’m not holding out much hope now but thanks again for all of your kind words.

Pray and speak positive things - lots of women have hematomas which cause this, I was one of them. Praying for you now just as many did for me when I was in your shoes x

Hello just thought I’d update. It’s been confirmed in a scan that I did have a miscarriage. Thanks so much for all of your support and advice, it really helped and I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Good luck with all of your current or future pregnancies xxx

@Problematicpotato I'm so sorry, you must be devastated, at least the miscarriage has started and should be over soon and hopefully without intervention. Be kind to yourself x
