7 weeks scan..small gestational sac

I've just had my 7+3 scan after 5 day IVF transfer. The nurse was not worried and was happy that a heartbeat was seen and heard and was happy to discharge me. However my gestational sac looks very small with a crowded baby and the baby measures 6+6. She was not worried about this but I'm not 100% sure how much she is aware re small gestational sacs. She wouldn't tell me any measurements and the measurements on the scan photo were blurry. I could see CTL was 9mm. I'm so worried as have seen lots of negative outcomes with a small sac
Please can anyone advise? So worried

Hey, just wondered if you had any updates? I’m currently going through a similar thing. I haven’t gone through IVF but I recently had a miscarriage in December 22, now currently pregnant with light spotting. Went to a private early scan yesterday for some reassurance and my head is all over the place! Baby is growing nicely with a nice heartbeat at 6 weeks 1 day but my gestational sac is looking small for baby at 7mm. She said it was her only concern and didn’t seem overly worried but I went home and done the worst thing and googled it 🤦🏻‍♀️. So now I’m trying to prepare myself for another miscarriage after all of the stories I’ve read 😥.

Hoping your pregnancy is going well so far x

I don't suppose you would mind updating what happened here? I just had a private scan, measuring 8wks so spot on what I expected, but the small gestational sac was flagged to me, plus some bleeding. I'm expecting the worst but just wondering if any positive stories out there? Best of luck to you!

Hey, first of all congratulations on your pregnancy. I’m wishing you the best of luck for a healthy pregnancy. For me sadly mine ended in a miscarriage 😞. I’ve not been given a reason as to why so it may or may not have been because of my sac but I feel like it may have been. I don’t want this to worry you though, I’ve seen so many positive story’s with this same situation so fingers crossed you’re one of the lucky ones 🤞🏼. Keep me posted on how things go if and when you feel up to it. I’m always here for a chat whatever the outcome will be xx

@Samc1990 thank you so much, and I'm so sorry you had that outcome. I'm going for a follow up scan next week, so we'll see. I can't seem to find many positive stories so I am definitely preparing for the worst. It's so hard to go from the excited feelings I had this morning, to now being full of dread for what's in store. 😔Hope you are doing well xx

Hey girls, can I have an update of your situation please? Currently at 7 weeks, heart beat, large yolk and small sac. X

@Stayup Hello, I'm so sorry I missed your reply back in November, I haven't logged on until recently. Unfortunately my situation did end with a miscarriage - I went for a follow up scan the next week and there was no heartbeat. I really hope your situation ended more positively, or if not that you are doing well now.
