I had my daughter several years ago when I was a size 12/14.. this time I'm pregnant with a boy, usual size 14/16 (blame lockdown & my lack of willpower) anyway I'm just huge. The bump that is. I look like I did with my daughter at 9 months pregnant. I have my Gestational Diabetes test this week & wondering if it'll be positive because I'm huge. Imagining myself giving birth to a baby the size of Russia at this rate. Was in a shop the other day & the cashier said 'oh you've not got long have you!' When I told her I've actually got 3 months left she looked like she was trying to stifle a huge sneeze. I haven't eaten particularly well & wondering if this is also contributing despite looking pretty much 'the same' everywhere else. Anyone else looked huge at this stage?!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I went from a smallish bump to suddenly huge within a week, it turned out to be extra fluid in my uterus (I've forgotten the medical term). It might not be all baby!

I looked the same at 5 months as I did the day I had my DD. I just seemed to reach the point of 'huge' really early and stayed there.

Yes, mine was just a big baby, also boy. GD test was negative, midwife said I was just a 'good cooker' Everybody was convinced I'd got my dates wrong because I couldn't possibly be that big at x many weeks. Visible bump from about 10 weeks.

@astarielle I'm going to be brave & ask... how much did he weigh?!

9lb7 so not overly gigantic or anything but definitely a bigger baby. Also a second baby like you though, apparently that's got something to do with it

This was me at around 34w. I was in agony. Should have been tested for GD due to age etc but I wasn’t. Baby was measuring exactly average throughout but ended up being born around 38w weighing 10.5lb

Poor DD - she looked like a grumpy toddler from the get go

@FernsAndFlowers I mean you were big but you still looked lovely! The rest of you is tiny! I just look... lumpy!
