Hi guys so currently around 9-10 weeks can't work it lol as the scan confused me a little 😂 but I'm wondering if I can wear my normal jeans ? Or if I need maternity and if so does anyone have recommendations for maternity jeans? I've got some maternity dresses as the weather seems to be getting nicer but the further I go along am I best of sticking to normal clothes but up my size to what I normally am or go for maternity for better fitting . I have got a slight bump maybe bloating lol 😂 considering my 3rd pregnancy x

Sorry are you asking if you can wear maternity clothes somewhere specific or in general?

Just wear whatever feels comfortable! There are no rules.

Not really just didn't want to squash the baby with my normal jeans x

Whatever feels comfortable won't squash baby, when it becomes uncomfortable then change to bigger clothes or maternity. I didn't wear maternity clothes my entire pregnancy. I wore leggings or dresses once I got big xx

Your baby is probably about the size of a grape right now so I wouldn't worry about squashing he / she! Besides which, baby is protected by amniotic fluid.
I'm just wearing larger size leggings and have a few maternity tops and dresses from new looks but that's just for my comfort really !

Wear what's comfortable you won't squash the baby.
I didn't even know I was pregnant until 25 weeks so wore my jeans everyday 🤣.

I would suggest maternity jeans. I started off with bloating, increased my jeans size at around 8weeks. Then at 12weeks increased it again. Then realised it wasn’t sustainable or fitting to keep increasing them so I got some hip/low sitting maternity jeans from primark. I usually wear my jeans on my hips rather than high up. I also tried the over-bump style jeans but I had the issue that I didn’t have a big enough bump to start, and then later on they irritated my belly.

I mostly wore my usual T-shirts/jumpers through the pregnancy. The only thing with T-shirts is having slightly longer ones for when the bump gets prominent. From around 34weeks I started wearing some maternity/nursing T-shirts (second hand from vinted/jojo maman Bebe).

I’m now 4 weeks postpartum and after an unexpected csection I’ve had to buy high waisted underwear and high waisted leggings to avoid the scar (both are normal just two sizes up) and I wear the maternity tops and dressing gown.

I think I started wearing maternity jeans at around 16 weeks because they were SO comfortable. I didn't have a bump as such, but my normal jeans just started to feel just that bit too tight, to the point I was getting uncomfortable, so I tried on my maternity jeans and never wanted to take them off. I think I mostly wore normal but stretchy or floaty tops through my pregnancy though.

Ah ok thank you for your reply I'll give them try , I know the feeling for a c section it's horrible . And especially with the scar you just don't know what to wear and to cover it . I'll give some maternity jeans a try xx
