Hi,

I posted about a week ago when i was 7dpo asking if anyone had experienced similar symptoms and ended with BFP. Alot of the response i got told me i possibly was just coming down with something. Im now 12 dpo and i have been experiencing nausea only at night, so much so that sometimes i vomit and the rest of the time it just makes me retch. I have had headaches almost everyday. Some cramping that has felt almost period like. My nipples are really sore. I feel like i can smell things stronger (could just be my mind playing games on that one) also i feel like im weeing more. Again could just be in my head with that. Im eating more aswell. Has anyone had the same symptoms at this stage and got a positive result or am i just experiencing heightened pms symptoms?

Please be kind. Ive been ttc for a year after an mmc and 6 months ttc before that. This is incredibly important for me as im sure is the same for many women on here

It's really sad that you had to put please be kind but i understand why, some posters can be really unkind in responses.

I know what you mean though sometimes it's so hard to know if its psychological because you know what should be happening your body compared to what's happening.

I have both sides to tell here I got these symptoms and aunt flo arrived bang on time when we were 2 months into TTC. I had the same symptoms the following month and miscarried. The following month we 'paused' trying but it was more we stopped tracking, stopped having routine based sex and just didn't really address it for the month and I got a BFP the day before aunt flo was due (currently 33 weeks). Unfortunately period and pregnancy symptoms are so similar. So much so that when I found out I was pregnant after the miscarriage I convinced myself I would miscarry because of the cramping I had, I was convinced the same thing was happening again but it didn't.

If you're 12 days DPO can you take one of the early detector clear blues? That's what I did when I was 13 days DPO and got my BFP and I had all the symptoms above but think I just put it down to regular monthly flow (also had thrush which I never ever usually get so that prompted sending DH to the chemist 13 days DPO)

Really hope all works out for you xx

Sorry to hear of your struggles and that you had to remind people to be kind. Some people don't really understand the emotional turmoil of trying for a baby, it can be very lonely, all consuming and will totally mess with your head.

I'm TTC myself with my second and I've had months where I was convinced I conceived because I had very strong symptoms. Some months I was even sick and retching every morning just before my period which really left me devastated when I'd get a negative and my period showed up as I thought that sickness was such a concrete symptom.

I discussed it with my midwife (i had a miscarriage a few months ago) and she basically advised me to try not to symptom spot as it's no guarantee of anything unless it comes with a BFP, even morning sickness is no guarantee as it turns out I was magnesium deficient.

I agree with @Emotionalmama I would test (do it in the morning if you can wait)
to see if you can get an answer as you are further along now. Good luck. x
