Kicks only felt where placenta is. Shouldn’t it be the opposite?!

My placenta is right lateral - anterior but way over to the right and not low. For the last three weeks I’ve been feeling movement but only ever on the right side. Is this strange that I’m only feeling kicks rightists where my placenta is? Shouldn’t it be the opposite?! And is it normal for baby to be in one position and only kicking in a particular area for so long? When I had my 20 weeks scan 10 days ago she was wriggling around non stop so I just assumed she’d be moving positions constantly!
