Can orgasms speed labour up or help pain in any way?

I know it won't start labour etc but surely if your already in labour a orgasm can help?

Yes they can, nipple stimulation can help too. You may not feel like it in the deep throes of labour but in the early stages it can be a brilliant tool.

Orgasms and sex are also just a great way to prepare for labour in general as well.

After doing the deed my waters broke not many hours later. Could be coincidence but I like to think it did help! I had a really fast (4 hours) and easy labour (my first)

Can't think of anything I'd want less during labour.
