Antenatal classes

I was asked by the midwife when I saw her last if I wanted to be signed up for antenatal classes. This is my fourth pregnancy and for me this class is just something else to try and fit in to my busy schedule. I declined and told her it was just something to try and fit in. She paused and then said ok and marked it off.
I'm still not overly interested in attending but did wonder if i did attend what benefits would it even give me? I have no fears of giving birth. I know a fair bit about giving birth and pregnancy as its my fourth. I don't really have a lot of time to go a class if its purely for social reasons either.
What do you all think on the benefits of antenatal classes beyond the first pregnancy?

I went to one for my fourth baby and it was nice to have some other parents to chat to after giving birth. No other benefits.

Thank you for your reply. It's what I thought then. I'll keep my time free for other more important things at the time then. I've got friends with children who I can talk to its not something I'm looking for either.
Thanks for confirming what I thought when I was asked. I know I could tell my mw that I've changed my mind but no point if there isn't any benefit to going for me.

I’ve only had one pregnancy and still found them unhelpful!!

I did parent craft classes for four weeks with my partner. It was mostly talking about what to expect which did help my partner and I. I've had three babies so far with no issues other than they wanted to come into the world quickly! They didn't do antenatal classes in my area when I was pregnant with my first. I never bothered asking when I was expecting my second and third as figured I didn't need it anyway 😅
