30 weeks freaky alien bump

I'm nearly 31 weeks and for a few weeks now at some point everyday and usually more than once a day my bump sticks way out to one side (almost always the left) and looks all lopsided. It's obviously his bum or head as it's round and really hard. Does this mean he's transverse or just moving around? When do they move head down?

Hm...Baby's often stick some bodypart or other out, stretching themselfs against your tummy...but at this stage, I would think it's to early to predict the position, still plenty of time and space to move into the right position!

I had this with ds2. Always the bump larger and more solid to the left. M/w telling me head down not engaged from at least 30 weeks and that it was a small baby.
Turned out they were in fact feeling the bum of a very large transverse baby and I had a section which was a trauma as they had difficulty getting him out because of his size and position.
SOunds like your baby is still moving around though, fingers xd he gets his head down.
