Hi All

I’m struggling with girls names at the moment, my list is

Florence
theodora
Ada

surname is short (1 syllable)

what are your thoughts? I like a name that’s a bit more classic, leaning towards old fashioned.

If surname is short I'd get rid of Ada. I also see Ada as a bit of a nothing name.
Florence isn't to my taste.
Theodora is ok but not keen on Dora or Theo.

I only like Ada from your list but it would depend on your surname if it goes together or not.

I like Florence from your list, all three are lovely names actually depending on how they run with surname.

I like all three, but especially like the options with Theodora - Thea, Dora or Teddy.

DH and I love unusual names, but one that we kept going back to for a girl (which is a classic) was -

Evangeline! 😊 so pretty.

But we’re having a little boy anyway- so probably will never use it lol!
