Hi guys,

Looking for advice or you past experiences for a friend of mine. She has not had a period in 54 days. She’s being tests upon tests and all negative. Last week she went to the doctor and they done a test for her but took a quick glance told her it was negative and put it in the bin.

Her boobs had become sore in the last day or 2 so today she decided to test and lo and behold she got a big FAT red line..she’s pregnant! This was a first response and it came up straight away clear as day for her. She done a clear blue digital and it says 2-3 weeks. How can this be?

has anyone experienced anything like this before? Late positive test?

Does she usually have long cycles? Does she track her cycles? It's possible she has long cycles and ovulated late then implanted near the end of implantation window? Could be her hcg wasn't high enough to show on tests earlier.

@Unicorn101 happy for your friend is she indeed is pregnant and I hope that she is! I am going through and hoping for something similar...I had an MMC on 7 april, no sign of period yet but all clear blue tests are negative. Still have sore boobs but not sure if this is new or from my previous pregnancy..I hope that I get a positive soon although late by "normal standards"
