Bleeding after FET

Hi all

Hope everyone is ok.apologies for long post but I could use some reassurance.

I had an FET done and on that day nurses told me that my cervix was irritated. (Prob due to progesterone pessaries)

Three days after FET I started bleeding which is ongoing every day till now. Sometimes there is no blood especially for early mornings, it usually starts around 12 pm and it is bright red.

I found out I am pregnant 9 days after FET and they did monitor my HCG and it was doubling every two days so they stopped measuring it after three blood tests.

Now two days ago I had heavier bleed and lot of pain so I called nurses at ACU and they called me in for scan immediately to see what's happening.

At the scan they can see a yolk sack and gestational sac but no fetal pole but was told it's too early for that. They did see streaks of blood at the top of the uterus but they can't give me reason why. They also did HCG test.

According to nurses I should be 5 weeks 5 days on the date of the scan but the ultrasound showed age of the baby as 5 weeks 1 day and the HCG levels are at 1080 which according to nurses is sub par.

I have another scan next week but it's hard not to worry so any experiences, wisdom would be very much appreciated..this is also our first one after too many years so I need to assurance here please.

Apologies for the image, already have shown it nurses at NHS and they can't explain it.

Hi, I don't really have any personal experience of this but didn't want to read and run. I'm 24 weeks after a FET.
Bleeding is common in early pregnancy, especially IVF pregnancies. Sometimes they can't find a reason but if your cervix was irritated then it could just be this.
Are you doing pessaries? Maybe change to doing them rectally if you aren't already. Unfortunately it is so early that I think it is just a wait and see situation. Fingers crossed for you that the next scan is good news 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi Narwhal88, thank you for your response here it is much appreciated.

I am doing the pessaries rectally for some time now. But still the bleeding does not seem to stop. I have been struggling with this alone as my husband is away due to work and it's hard to cope sometimes. I guess I will know more on the scan day and I am hoping the baby will catch up by the however my symptoms such as hunger, breast soreness has faded away is not assuring and my mind is driven crazy.

All the very best for your preganacy...😊
